General questions about safaris in Lapland

Press the title to open the question

We recommend booking all your Lapland experiences, such as Northern Lights trips, snowshoe and ski safaris, in advance. This way you can secure your place, especially during the busy season. The booking calendar for some of our products closes 24 hours before the activity starts. If you are unable to book the activity you want via our website, you can call us on +358 46 921 2977, or visit us at Keskuskuja 4 to enquire about availability.

Dress in warm and layered clothes. We prefer woollen clothing, such as merino wool layering pieces, and make sure you're not packing yourself too tightly, as there also needs to be air between layers to keep you warm. Favour wool socks on your feet and skip the cotton socks altogether.

Many of our safaris, such as reindeer drives, husky treks and Northern Lights trips, are designed for families. Children can enjoy their experiences safely under the guidance of our guides. However, some, such as our e-fatbike safaris, are not suitable for the youngest members of the family due to their challenging nature. If you need more information about the suitability of our excursions, you can call us on +358 46 921 2977, or come to our shop at Keskuskuja 4. We will take care of your safety and inform you if weather conditions pose a risk of an incident.

Lapland's weather can be unpredictable, but most winter activities such as snowmobiling and e-fatbike safaris are organised regardless of the weather, excluding extreme weather conditions. Northern lights tours can be postponed or cancelled if necessary.

On most Lapland excursions we offer a cup of hot drinks, such as warm juice and tea.
